Music Tutor

  • Hourly Rate: £25
  • Location: Rotherham
  • Job Type: Part-time (1 day per week with potential for growth)
Day-to-day of the role
  • Deliver music lessons across primary and secondary schools in Rotherham.
  • Teach 1:1, small group, and class lessons focusing on percussion and drum kit.
  • Engage students during the school hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the flexibility to choose the working day.
  • Optional Saturday teaching available if desired.
  • Travel to different schools, often multiple on the same day, to conduct lessons.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience in music, specifically percussion and drum kit (formal qualification not required but beneficial).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying ages and abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage travel and scheduling across different schools.
  • Passion for music and education, with a focus on developing students’ musical abilities.
