As an Instrument Technician, you'll have the opportunity to master the restoration and repair of instruments used in a range of medical settings. You'll receive comprehensive training on instrument functionality, specifications and repair techniques, starting with minor repairs before progressing to more complex restoration work.

This position is perfect for someone with good hand-eye coordination who enjoys working with small components, whether you've come from mobile repair, nail technology, jewellery work, any trade where precision and attention to detail matter, or a college leaver with a positive and inquisitive attitude who is keen to learn.

You'll work with specialist equipment including microscopes, grinders, soldering irons and polishers, examining and troubleshooting devices to determine the best course of action to restore them to full working order whilst contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
