About the Role
Selwood is the leading pump rental solutions company in the UK, known for exceptional customer service and a fleet of high‑quality pump products. We are pleased to offer a career path for an experienced Installation Supervisor to lead pump and pipework installations at client sites.
Main Responsibilities
- Promote the company’s mission and core values across the UK network.
- Supervise all aspects of the solution/sales project from conception to completion in conjunction with the solutions/sales team.
- Communicate installation progress and potential issues to the Installation Manager.
- Carry out on‑site RAMS processes, ensuring risks are identified and control measures are implemented.
- Install pipework and supervise day‑to‑day workload of Installation Operatives and sub‑contractors on site.
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles; a good level of fitness is required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Confident working at height, in confined spaces, and around sewage/wastewater.
- Experience on client sites: construction, wastewater, and clean water.
- Hands‑on approach to ensure jobs are completed on time and to high quality.
- Flexible working hours; available for an ‘on‑call’ 1 in 4 rota and occasional away‑from‑home work.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Site Supervision.
- SSSTS – Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme.
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
- IOSH Managing Safety.
- Forklift licence.
- CSCS card holder.
- Water Hygiene Card.
- Subject to a safety‑critical medical examination.
