A leading maritime organisation is seeking an Installation Supervisor to oversee site mobilisation and ensure compliance with CDM regulations. This role involves working hands-on with on-site teams and requires experience in supervision within an engineering or marine environment. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our project and field operations teams within a remarkable organisation responsible for maintaining over 800 built structures that serve as vital Aids to Navigation, keeping mariners safe at sea. You'll play a key role in delivering essential modernisation work in some of the most breathtaking coastal locations across England, Wales, and the Channel Islands. Working alongside a dedicated and skilled team, you'll contribute to the delivery of lasting safety and quality across some of the most important maritime infrastructure in the region.
As an Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for thorough planning ahead of site mobilisation and for maintaining close, hands‑on coordination with on‑site teams throughout the installation phase, ensuring all activities are carried out smoothly, safely and efficiently. This role demands careful planning and assessment of site conditions to ensure all operations comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. You will be responsible for producing Pre‑Construction Information and either reviewing contractor Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) or preparing CPPs for review by the wider team.
We are looking for an experienced site supervisor or CDM practitioner ideally within an engineering or marine environment. Experience of supervision is required as is a clear understanding of the CDM2015 regulations.
