Job description

Who we are

the company (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At the company, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing - and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at the company means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

the company’s Installation Engineers are on the front lines of ensuring customers successfully deploy our hardware and technology at scale. In this role, you will oversee customer engagements with installation partners, provide onsite support for complex deployments, and proactively de-risk projects to deliver smooth, high-quality installations. You'll work closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure every project drives adoption and long-term value.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in project management, installation oversight, or field services who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

High level of travel is expected with potential overnight stays.

You should apply if:
  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Every phone call you answer and every email you send can affect whether truck drivers deliver goods on time and without accidents, whether students get dropped off safely from school, or whether power gets restored quickly after a natural disaster.
  • You thrive the most when solving problems: Our constantly expanding technology and the complexities faced by our customers provide an exciting range of challenges for our Customer Success teams. With a growth mindset and a desire to learn, you will strategically partner with our customers to find unique solutions to help keep their operations safe, efficient, and sustainable.
  • You are a natural relationship builder: Whether the relationship is with our customers or with cross-functional teams in the company, you are in constant communication and collaboration with key stakeholders to win as a team.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at the company. This Customer Success team is still shaping its future and you will have plenty of autonomy and opportunities to master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You want to be with the best: At the company, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by the best and brightest professionals out there.
In this role, you will:
  • Define installation best practices for the EMEA organisation
  • Assist partners in building project-specific installation guides using the company best practices and deliver onsite training to installer technicians on project specific requirements
  • Coordinate with installation partners to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to the company’s quality standards in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Identify risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and keep projects on track. Serve as a point of contact for escalations and troubleshooting during install phases.
  • Provide onsite oversight for large or complex deployments, including building specifications, driving communication with installers, perform real-time troubleshooting, and complete onsite quality checks
  • Perform first of kind installations on complex customer projects, serving as the hands on technical expert
  • Capture lessons learned from each project to improve processes and drive continuous improvement with installation partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Implementation, and Product) to elevate, share feedback, and enhance the installation experience
Minimum requirements for the role:
  • 5+ years experience managing vehicle and/or hardware technology
  • Prior vehicle installation or fitter experience (e.g. experience installing emergency lighting, two-way mobile radios, GPS equipment, antennas or other electrical equipment)
  • Understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, including Controller Area Networks (CAN bus) and Power Take Off (PTO) applications, for on-road and off-road vehicles and industrial equipment
  • Confident in electronic & system integration and specification
  • Experience in field operations coordination, implementation, and technical deployment
  • Interest in AI with the view to create tooling to operate at scale
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration
  • Must have valid driver's license and be insurable
An ideal candidate also has:
