Job summary

West Shore Home, a technology-driven home improvement company, is seeking a Construction Laborer in Columbia, SC. You will help with safe installations, loading and delivering materials, and ensuring a 5-star customer experience. A background in carpentry or remodeling is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with a 6:30 AM start. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered, including health insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must have a valid smartphone or device to log into company systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Demo existing bath/shower and install new tub or pan, wall surround, and update plumbing if needed.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse.
