Job summary

A well-established HVAC contractor in Scotland is seeking refrigeration installation engineer mates to assist with installations and maintenance of refrigeration systems. The ideal candidates will have plumbing and electrical experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay away from home. In return, the position offers pay rates up to £16 per hour and opportunities for training and progression in a niche industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist refrigeration installation engineers with their duties.
• Install air conditioning / refrigeration units in various settings.
• Perform regular maintenance on systems.

Due to continued growth, a well-established HVAC contractor are looking at taking on numerous refrigeration installation engineer mates to help with workload.

You will spend your time assisting the current refrigeration installation engineers with their duties which include :

• Installing air conditioning / refrigeration units in retail / commercial settings
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of air conditioning / refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the units.
• Ensure all installations and services comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies through continuous training.

Whilst it is preferred, experience in the refrigeration industry is not a % requirement. My client are willing to look at semi skilled / skilled labourers with experience of working with plumbing / electrical works etc. A great attitude is required and being able to stay away from home most weeks.

In return you will receive up to £15 / £16 per hour (dependent on skillset) and be trained up in a niche industry, with plenty of progression opportunities.
