Role Overview

An award‑winning AV solutions provider is looking for an Audio‑Visual Installation Engineer to join its expanding team based in Bristol. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £34,000 per annum, a bonus scheme (circa £6,000), a van with fuel expense based on mileage, a laptop and a mobile phone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install the latest AV hardware and technologies into client sites.
  • Terminate audio, video and CAT 5/6 cabling, including 1st and 2nd fix with crimp and solder.
  • Integrate rack systems and work from design schematics.
  • Mount wall/ceiling structures and apply correct fixings.
  • Program and configure control systems (Extron, Crestron, AMX).
Required Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working from design schematics; industry accreditations such as CTS, CTS and Prince 2 are an advantage.
  • Strong AV installation background and desirable accreditations (AVIXA, Infocom CTS, CEDIA, or related academic qualifications).
  • Understanding of AV control system programming.
  • Experience leading operative teams across multiple sites and planning processes.
