Job summary

TXM Recruit seeks an experienced Installation Engineer (Electrical) for Milton Keynes Depot to support nationwide home delivery and installation services. Salary £40,000 - £50,000 with travel across the UK.

You will lead high‑spec electrical installations, mentor junior engineers, and deliver an exceptional customer experience using cutting‑edge technology.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation is required.
• 18th Edition (BS7671) is essential.
• AM2 qualification and/or EV charging qualification is essential.
• Strong background in domestic electrical installations is required.
• Experience leading or mentoring other engineers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installations within domestic properties.
• Install EV chargers, smart home technology and premium appliances.
• Carry out testing, commissioning and quality inspections.
• Demonstrate products and provide first‑class customer service.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and in line with current regulations.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll lead high‑spec electrical installations, mentor junior engineers and deliver an exceptional customer experience while working with cutting‑edge technology.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.

• AM2 qualification and/or EV Charging qualification (Essential)
• Strong background in domestic electrical installations.
• Experience leading or mentoring other engineers.
• Full UK Driving Licence (3.5t driving experience advantageous).
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and depots nationally.
