First Achieve Engineering are working in partnership with a global leader in the design, manufacture, and commissioning of advanced engineering systems. Due to continued growth and project wins, they are seeking an experienced Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their highly skilled team.
The Role:
Based from Eurocentral with regular travel across the UK and overseas.
Carry out site acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment.
Perform mechanical/electrical fault finding, maintenance, and repairs as needed.
Travel required Monday to Friday; overseas work may extend to 4-5 weeks at a time (agreed in advance and shared across the team).
Requirements:
Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer (C&G/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Hands-on experience with drives, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Competent in PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred) and HMI systems.
Understanding of temperature control instrumentation and control panels.
Desirable (not essential):
BS7671 18th Edition or C&G 2391-52 qualification.
Ability to modify PLC code (training provided).
