Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a dedicated teacher to work with children and young people who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and SEMH needs at Hartwell School in Stockton-on-Tees.

You will deliver high-quality education, collaborate with in-house psychologists, therapy professionals and support staff, and benefit from excellent holiday entitlements, a strong progression path, and a salary up to £55,720.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or SEMH is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in specialist settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support pupils with SEND to learn and develop their abilities.
• Foster self-esteem and resilience in learners.
• Collaborate with support staff and therapists to deliver personalised education.
