Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking passionate SEND Teachers to cover a range of schools in Northampton and surrounding areas. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with diverse needs and work with a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
Flexible, patient and creative approach to teaching.
Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and pupil needs.

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet pupils' individual needs.
Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, physical disabilities and speech and language difficulties.
Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Adapting teaching approaches and resources to suit different learning styles and abilities.
Supporting pupils with EHCPs and working towards their individual targets.
Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and other professionals.
Encouraging communication, independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
