Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a SEN Teacher for Bowersgate School in Wythenshawe, opening September 2026. You will teach KS2/KS3 pupils with Autism and SEMH, helping them learn, develop their abilities and raise self-esteem.

You’ll be supported by in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals in a well‑resourced, collaborative environment, with opportunities for progression and a rewarding career.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status and be a registered teacher.
• Experience teaching SEND and KS2/KS3 is preferred.
• Must be resilient, dedicated and able to build strong pupil relationships.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS2/KS3 pupils with Autism and SEMH to support learning and development.
• Raise pupils' self-esteem and monitor progress with the team.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, psychologists and therapists.
• Contribute to an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
