Teach Now is seeking a creative and ambitious Music & Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary academy in Luton. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3- KS5, inspiring pupils to explore music and art and build confidence and creativity.

The role emphasizes high expectations, inclusive teaching, and participation in enrichment activities. You will contribute to a calm, purposeful learning environment with strong pastoral support and clear behaviour systems.

Qualifications

• Hold UK-recognised QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music, Art or both in a secondary setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Enthusiastic, organised and committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching.
• Share the academy's ambition for every pupil to achieve excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Music and Art lessons across the secondary age range.
• Set high expectations and support pupils of differing abilities to make strong progress.
• Assess pupils' work and use outcomes to inform future teaching and curriculum planning.
• Contribute to creative projects, performances, exhibitions and enrichment activities.
• Promote confidence, cultural awareness and participation in the wider life of the academy.
