Reigate Grammar School is seeking a Library Assistant to help create a welcoming space where students can read, learn, explore and thrive. You’ll support independent study, encourage reading for pleasure, and work with staff and pupils across the school.

The role is 32 hours per week during term time plus five weeks, ideally four days per week, and requires an enthusiastic, organised and approachable person with a genuine interest in education and the confidence to inspire young people.

Qualifications

• Previous library experience is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support independent study, encourage reading for pleasure, create engaging displays and resources, and work with staff and students across the school.
