Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd is partnering with a friendly Kingston primary school to recruit a Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) from September 2026. The role welcomes ECTs and offers a long-term contract with a permanent opportunity.

You will plan and deliver lessons across KS1/KS2, create an inclusive learning environment, and use assessment data to maximise pupil attainment. Excellent development opportunities accompany competitive pay and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess pupil progress and use data effectively to adapt teaching and maximise attainment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and higher-attaining learners.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development while preparing them for transition into secondary education.
