Job summary

Sing Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate musician with a music degree to deliver our singing-led, whole-class curriculum to pupils from Nursery to Year 6. Roles are term-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, with cover days booked in advance and occasional short-notice opportunities.

Enhanced DBS is required and training is provided. You will lead assemblies, run choirs and clubs using ready-made plans and collaborate closely with school staff and Sing Education

Qualifications

University graduate with a degree in music or related field.
Strong English skills in spoken and written form.
Ability to lead singing and assemblies in a classroom setting.
Familiarity with the National Curriculum for music.
Proficient with ICT and online systems such as G Suite.

Responsibilities

Deliver our singing-led, whole-class music lessons from Nursery to Year 6 using provided lesson plans.
Conduct singing assemblies and lead choirs and clubs, with plans supplied by Sing Education.
Collaborate with school staff and Sing Education admin; ensure clear handovers after each cover day.
Participate in team training and induction sessions to integrate into Sing Education ethos.
