A leading secondary school near Watford is seeking a knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join its well-resourced Science department. The role covers Physics across KS4 and KS5, with some responsibility for delivering Science at KS3 depending on experience.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can deliver challenging, engaging lessons that blend theory with practical investigation and help students excel in examinations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Physics teacher with UK teaching status (QTS/PGCE).
• Strong knowledge of GCSE and A-Level specifications.
• Proven classroom management and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physics lessons across KS4 and KS5.
• Teach Science at KS3 when required.
• Plan practical investigations to reinforce theory.
• Develop students' analytical, mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress and identify interventions.
