Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for passionate Physics Teachers to support secondary schools across Peterborough, Cambridge and Huntingdonshire for September 2026. You will deliver engaging Physics lessons and help students reach their potential in KS3/KS4 and maybe KS5.

Whether you are an established teacher with QTS or an ECT starting your career, Aspire People will support your placement with dedicated consultants, interview guidance and long-term/permanent opportunities in local schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
• Experience teaching Physics within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• A passion for education and student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physics lessons across KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5.
• Inspire curiosity, critical thinking and scientific enquiry.
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Contribute positively to a thriving Science department.
