Job summary

Cove School is seeking a talented PE teacher to join our dedicated team. You will deliver high-quality PE lessons across Years 7–11, inspiring pupils to engage, achieve and thrive within our supportive school community.

The successful candidate will hold QTS/PGCE (or equivalent), have a strong degree in a related subject, and demonstrate excellent classroom management, communication, and safeguarding practices. The role offers extensive CPD and vibrant extra-curricular opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with appropriate credential (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge in physical education and safeguarding awareness.
• Good IT literacy and ability to use school tech in lessons.

Responsibilities

• Engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge pupils to excel academically.
• Teach across the full age range (Year 7–11).
• Set and mark examinations; participate in departmental meetings and CPD.
