Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University is recruiting an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer to join the School of Nursing, Public and Allied Health. You will deliver high-quality nursing education, across programmes, and support students with academic, pastoral and professional guidance.

You will contribute to curriculum development and engage in scholarship, professional development and knowledge exchange to keep programmes current and relevant.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Hold an honours degree and a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience of teaching in higher education or delivering professional training in practice settings.
• Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive and student-centred learning.
• Be able to inspire, motivate and support students from diverse backgrounds.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to continuing professional development and maintaining professional registration.
• Experience in curriculum development, module leadership and use of digital technologies would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across a range of programmes.
• Support students to achieve their full potential through academic, pastoral and professional guidance.
