Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Nursery Teacher to join a Good Ofsted-rated nursery in the UK. You will plan and deliver play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children’s readiness for school.

The role requires QTS or EYTS (or equivalent Early Years qualification), experience in early years, excellent safeguarding knowledge, and outstanding communication and organisational skills. The setting offers indoor and outdoor learning environments and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• QTS, EYTS, or recognised Early Years teaching qualification
• Previous experience teaching within an early years or nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
• Excellent safeguarding and child protection procedures understanding
• Outstanding communication and organisational skills
• A creative, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
• Inspire children through creative indoor and outdoor learning opportunities
• Support children's learning, development, and school readiness
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, adapting learning to meet individual needs
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong partnerships with families and the wider nursery team
• Promote high standards of teaching, safeguarding, and early years practice
• Contribute to the continuous development of the nursery's curriculum and learning environment
