Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to inspire students in Tonbridge. You will plan and deliver theory and practical lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching desirable, and support school concerts and events.

The role requires a creative, enthusiastic approach, with safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to engaging learners of diverse abilities. Immediate start and both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching Music within an educational setting.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• The ability to engage and motivate students across a range of ages and abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching desirable.
• Creating innovative and inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
• Supporting and contributing to school concerts, recitals and musical events.
• Working collaboratively with the Music Department and wider school team.
• Attending departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required.
• Helping students develop their musical skills, confidence and passion for the subject.
