Job summary

Sir Harry Smith Community College invites applications for a Teacher of Maths on a permanent contract with the potential for a TLR for a suitable candidate. The successful applicant will deliver Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4 and, if possible, at Key Stage 5.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs and offer excellent professional development, guidance and support. The TLR responsibilities will be discussed at interview.

• An excellent track record of raising attainment.
• Proven ability and enthusiasm to motivate students and staff.
• The ability to support and raise the expectations and aspirations of students of all abilities.
• A desire to share experiences and good practice with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4, and ideally at Key Stage 5.
• Take on TLR responsibilities as discussed at interview.
• Act as an enthusiastic and inspirational classroom practitioner to promote high standards in Teaching and Learning.
