Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting passionate Maths Teachers for a range of secondary school opportunities across Northamptonshire, starting in September. Roles include KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5, offering MPS/UPS pay and flexible full-time and part-time positions.

Candidates should have QTS or equivalent, experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools, strong classroom management, and an enhanced DBS. Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and access to CPD are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A passion for education and student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and assess student progress effectively.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with department staff and wider school teams.
