Job summary

Hanham Woods Academy is seeking an inspirational Teacher of Maths to deliver a high-quality Mathematics curriculum, developing students’ confidence and numeracy. The role is a fixed-term maternity cover starting as soon as possible, with 32.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will teach Maths across key stages, promote enquiry-based learning and contribute to enrichment activities to deepen student engagement with the subject.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Ability to design high-quality Maths lessons across key stages.
• Support learners from identified groups ensuring inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across relevant key stages and promote reasoning and problem solving.
• Encourage enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, problem solving challenges and cross-curricular projects.
