Job summary

Digitalvish is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to teach pupils across KS3 and GCSE, delivering engaging lessons that spark creativity and inspire excellence.

You will develop a music curriculum, teach theory, history and performance techniques, organize recitals, and collaborate with staff on interdisciplinary projects.

Candidates must have QTS or equivalent, at least three years of teaching experience, and a genuine passion for nurturing students’ musical talents.

Qualifications

• 1st or 2:1 degree preferred.
• Experience teaching music to students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in playing and teaching at least one instrument.
• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging music curriculum tailored to KS3 and GCSE.
• Teach music theory, history, and performance techniques.
• Provide individual and group instruction on various instruments (piano, guitar, violin, etc.).
• Organise and oversee student recitals, performances, and competitions.
• Collaborate with other faculty to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for creativity and growth.
