NLCS is seeking a dynamic Junior School KS1 Music Teacher for a maternity cover. The role is part-time, 0.40FTE, with teaching on Mondays and Wednesdays from January 2027.

The successful candidate will inspire young pupils through engaging music education and contribute to a supportive, high-achieving school community. The ideal candidate is a passionate musician and educator, able to develop lively, inclusive lessons that build confidence and musical curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS1 pupils music with engaging, inclusive, and creative lessons.
• Inspire confidence, curiosity, and musical development in each pupil.
• Deliver lessons on a part-time basis (Mon & Wed, 0.40FTE) to cover maternity leave.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive, high-expectation learning environment.
