Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy are recruiting a Painting and Decorating Teacher for a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester. You will deliver engaging FE painting and decorating lessons, plan and assess courses, and support learners to develop practical and industry-ready skills.

Applicants should hold a recognised teaching qualification or have relevant teaching experience, plus Level 3 (or equivalent) painting and decorating qualifications or strong industry background.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience.
• Level 3 Painting and Decorating qualification or significant industry experience.
• Strong practical skills, classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Painting and Decorating lessons to FE learners.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
• Teach a range of practical and theoretical topics within Painting and Decorating.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback.
• Support students to achieve their academic goals and develop industry-standard skills.
• Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
