Job summary

The Bawburgh School, a small rural primary school on the outskirts of Norwich, seeks an experienced EYFS/KS1 teacher from January 2027 to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will nurture and inspire our youngest learners, delivering high-quality teaching aligned with the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.

We are looking for a reflective, innovative practitioner with high expectations, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to working with parents to support every child’s progress.

Qualifications

• EYFS/KS1 teaching experience
• Knowledge of planning, delivery and assessment of EYFS/KS1 curriculum
• Experience leading curriculum subjects
• Commitment to inclusive education and parental partnership

Responsibilities

• Teach EYFS/KS1 in a small rural primary school
• Cover maternity leave from January 2027 until end of academic year
• Nurture and inspire youngest learners to achieve best outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress
