Job summary

Monarch Education are seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to join partner secondary schools across Bristol and surrounding areas from September. You will plan and deliver engaging drama lessons to KS3 and KS4, helping pupils express creativity and build performance skills.

A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent is required, with strong classroom management and commitment to safeguarding. The role offers both full-time and part-time options and a supportive, collaborative department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status, QTS or QTLS or equivalent UK teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3/KS4.
• Create an inclusive, creative classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Contribute to the wider performing arts department.
