Job summary

Monarch Education in Solihull invites applications for a Drama Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school. Start date January 2027.

Roles include part-time or full-time arrangements, with responsibility for planning and marking and delivering engaging Drama across KS3/KS4. The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have secondary Drama experience, and be able to motivate students of varied abilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching Drama at secondary level expected.
• Strong knowledge of KS3 and KS4 Drama curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and prepare creative lessons aligned with curriculum.
• Assess progress and provide targeted support.
• Develop students' confidence, performance skills, and creativity.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support extra-curricular productions and performances.
• Contribute to wider department life.
