Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher for a large North London secondary school. The post could start in January or sooner, with a supportive Drama Faculty and excellent facilities.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, teach KS3 & KS4 (and possibly KS5 Drama), inspire students, and contribute to a collaborative departmental environment within an inner-city school aiming for academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Track record of improving pupil performance.
• Commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusive education.
• Ability to use and manipulate data to raise student achievement; familiarity with Excel.
• Evidence of supporting and challenging students who underperform.
• Awareness of national initiatives in education.

Responsibilities

• Teach Drama to KS3/KS4 and possibly KS5, inspiring students.
• Develop and contribute to the Drama curriculum activities.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards in all aspects of work in the department.
• Collaborate with the Drama team and wider staff to raise outcomes.
