Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting experienced and qualified Computer Science Teachers for day-to-day supply teaching and long-term contract opportunities across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026. Roles include day-to-day bookings and longer contracts, offering flexibility and continuity where needed.

You will deliver engaging CS lessons, assess progress effectively and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• QTS with Computer Science / Computing specialization.
• Experience teaching Computer Science up to KS4.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication, planning and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging CS/Computing lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
• Contribute to wider school life and CPD initiatives.
