Job summary

Kings Heath Primary Academy is recruiting a Class Teacher to join our ambitious and creative team. You will carry out the professional duties of a teacher under the Headteacher's direction, delivering high-quality lessons and contributing to our success.

Starting 04/01/2027. We offer a competitive M1-UPS3 salary (£34,069 to £52,835), access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, professional development, flexible working patterns, and a supportive trust network to help you grow as an educator.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or ECT.
• Evidence of sustained participation in INSET/CPD.
• Experience of teaching.
• Demonstrable evidence of high standards of class teaching.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the academy’s policies under the direction of the Headteacher.
• Be an effective professional who demonstrates thorough curriculum knowledge, can teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development and has pupils who achieve well.
• Use a range of appropriate strategies and follow Academy policies for teaching/tutoring, behaviour management and classroom management.
