Avanti Meadows Primary School in Bishop’s Stortford is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher for a one-year fixed-term maternity cover. You will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive teaching, assess progress and support pupil wellbeing within a safe, supportive learning environment.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to promote high standards and the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant subject.
• QTS qualified.
• Able to self-start and work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive teaching that meets the needs of all pupils.
• Monitor, assess and evaluate pupils’ progress and attainment with effective feedback.
