Job summary

swim@ is seeking engaging Swimming Teachers to join our award-winning team. You’ll deliver fun, safe, and structured lessons that help children build confidence and reach their potential in the water.

You’ll bring energy and personality to every class while maintaining high teaching and safety standards, with evening and weekend shifts across our venues. We provide full training and ongoing development to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to high teaching and safety standards.
• Desirable: Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (STA or SEQ, or Swim England).
• Desirable: Experience teaching children or working in a leisure environment.
• Desirable: Lifesaving, safeguarding, or first aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver themed, structured swimming lessons for children aged 3–11 (beginners to competent swimmers).
• Deliver with a modern, engaging and dynamic style.
• Provide outstanding customer care, welcoming families and engaging with parents.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all swimmers.
• Use digital systems to track progress, celebrate milestones, and communicate results.
• Communicate confidently with parents and guardians to keep them informed and involved.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and site teams to maintain high standards.
• Attend training and team meetings to stay current and improve.
• If located near other swim@ venues, there is an opportunity to work across multiple locations.
