Job summary

Harris Lowe Academy Willesden is seeking a part-time Careers Adviser to join the Careers Team in the London Borough of Brent. You will support students to make informed choices about their futures, working with colleagues to shape a high-impact CEIAG programme.

Candidates should hold a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance (or be working towards) with experience delivering impartial guidance one-to-one and in groups, plus a proactive, flexible approach within the school timetable.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Careers Guidance or Level 6 equivalent in progress or achieved.
• Proven experience delivering impartial, personalised career guidance one-to-one and in groups.
• Proactive, confident in motivating students to plan and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-impact CEIAG programme to Years 7–13.
• Guide students toward post-16/18 options including FE, apprenticeships and employment.
• Lead or contribute to assemblies and information sessions as required.
