Bitterne Park School is seeking an Art Teacher to inspire and develop students' creativity across KS3–KS5. The role promises engaging lessons, strong assessment and a positive creative learning environment, contributing to high-quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will have QTS, a degree in Art or related field, and a commitment to innovative teaching. The position is full-time and fixed-term until 31st July 2027, with a January 2027 start date.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Art or a related field.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across the Art curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop creativity and confidence.
• Support the department to develop an ambitious Art curriculum.
• Ensure assessment and lesson plans are followed.
