Job summary

A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a temporary Science Teacher to ignite passion in students at KS3 and KS4 levels. The role requires creating engaging lessons while managing practical lab activities in a supportive school environment. Ideal candidates should have QTS and a degree in a Science discipline, alongside proven classroom management skills. Competitive pay is offered at £140 - £233 per day, and immediate impact on student learning is expected from Day 1.

Qualifications

• You hold QTS and a degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Science).
• You have a proven track record of delivering the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
• You possess classroom management skills to lead safe and exciting practical lessons.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, engaging Science lessons that foster scientific inquiry.
• Manage and lead safe practical work that brings the curriculum to life.
• Act as a Form Tutor and contribute to the vibrant life of the school.
• Contribute to innovative Schemes of Work and share best practices.
