About Our Client

An established private practice based in the Midlands.

Job Description

This is a role within a small but successful Insolvency team. You will be working closely with the Head of Department who has lots of experience and connections within the sector. The team acts on a range of matters including:

  • Investigatory work
  • Enforcement actions
  • Void transactions / transactions at an undervalue / antecedent transactions
  • Pre-packs and sales
  • General advisory work to creditors and IPs
  • Occasional defence work for Directors
  • Some property related matters (repossessions)

The firm has an excellent culture and, once you are established and subject to experience, are happy to support hybrid working.

The Successful Applicant

It's likely that you will be a qualified UK Solicitor with experience in Insolvency matters. Our client will consider candidates with a range of PQE including trainee solicitors who are very close to qualification.

Our client could also potentially consider UK qualified solicitors whose experience may lean towards more general contentious matters but can demonstrate a genuine interest in specialising in Insolvency work. Full time office attendance is likely to be expected for solicitors without direct insolvency experience who are looking to learn and develop.
