Job summary

William James Recruitment is seeking an Insolvency & Corporate Recovery Solicitor in Manchester to join a leading UK law firm. You will handle a broad range of insolvency matters, both contentious and non-contentious, with exposure to practitioners and clients from SMEs to large organisations.

The role offers clear career progression, collaborative support and opportunities to build client relationships while advising on restructurings, administrations, liquidations and director duties.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with insolvency, corporate recovery or commercial litigation background.
• Strong drafting, analytical and technical skills.
• Commercially minded with client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners on complex insolvency and restructuring matters.
• Manage own matters with growing autonomy and responsibility.
• Advise insolvency practitioners, directors, and stakeholders on contentious and non-contentious issues.
• Assist on corporate restructurings, administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies.
• Manage insolvency litigation and recovery actions, building strategic guidance.
• Develop client relationships and support business development within the firm.
