Job summary

Hanami International seeks an Insolvency & Restructuring Manager for Guernsey or UK remote work. You will manage formal appointments, including liquidations, administrations, and receiverships, and coordinate asset tracing across jurisdictions with offshore lawyers and courts.

You will bring 5+ years in corporate insolvency, hold ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent, and JIEB or CPI is a plus, while developing junior administrators and fostering cross-border partnerships with banks and fiduciaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of formal appointments from liquidations and administrations to receivership.

• Conduct independent business reviews and options reviews for distressed Channel Islands and international businesses.
• Develop relationships with island law firms, banks and fiduciaries to source new cases.
• Mentor and develop junior administrators handling cases.

Insolvency & Restructuring Manager, Channel Islands (Guernsey or UK Remote)

Offshore funds, trust structures and international groups, with assets to trace and recover across borders, through courts in NY and Cayman. As Manager, you'll have an opportunity to run those cases.

The work

• A caseload of formal appointments, from liquidations and administrations to receivership, managed from start to close
• Asset tracing and recovery work across jurisdictions, alongside offshore lawyers and overseas courts
• Independent business reviews and options reviews for distressed Channel Islands and international businesses
• Relationships with the island’s law firms, banks and fiduciaries, the people who bring in the next case
• Developing the administrators who work your cases

About you

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification
• JIEB or CPI is a plus
• 5+ years in corporate insolvency and restructuring, in the UK or offshore

Nice to have: offshore, fund or trust insolvency, forensic accounting or asset-tracing experience, and cross-border recognition work
