Job summary

The Dains Group in Glasgow is seeking an Insolvency Graduate to join our growing team, where you will train toward CPI Insolvency Administrator while developing in tax.

You’ll work with experienced professionals on a diverse portfolio, gain hands-on case administration, reporting, and business recovery strategies in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade 6 or equivalent.
  • Minimum 120 UCAS points.
  • 2:1 honours degree or predicated.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with assessing financial positions and preparing reports.
  • Support case administration and documentation across insolvency matters.
  • Contribute to business recovery strategies and formal insolvency processes.

Our Insolvency Team

Our Insolvency team supports businesses and their stakeholders when a company is experiencing financial difficulties. The team provides advice on recovery and restructuring where the business has the potential to continue operating, while also managing formal insolvency procedures where recovery is not viable. Dains works closely with businesses, lenders, creditors and other stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions and help maximise value throughout the process.

In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced insolvency professionals on a diverse portfolio of cases, supporting businesses across a wide range of sectors. You’ll be involved in assessing financial positions, preparing reports and documentation, managing case administration and assisting with business recovery strategies and formal insolvency processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a challenging yet rewarding environment where no two days are the same.

Entry Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 6 in Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
