Job summary

Oury Clark in Slough seeks an experienced insolvency professional to lead and manage cases across Administrations, CVLs, MVLs, CVAs and bankruptcies. The role emphasizes statutory compliance, reporting quality, and team leadership.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in insolvency and CPI qualification, with opportunities for partner exposure and involvement in business development and mentoring within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within an Insolvency department.
• CPI Qualified is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases of varying sizes and complexity including Administrations, CVLs, MVLs, CVAs and Bankruptcies.
• Oversee case delivery from pre-appointment tasks through to closure, maintaining an effective diary system.
• Complete all statutory tasks and deadlines with high-quality reports and letters.
• Review directors’ disqualification reports and assist with CDDA returns where needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, manage performance and develop the team.
• Support marketing and business development with technical commentary and content.
• Coach Trainees and staff, delegate work, and ensure staff progress and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to two partners and working with two directors, you will manage cases of various sizes and complexity which will include Administrations, CVLs, MVLs, CVAs and Bankruptcies.
• Managing case delivery incorporating pre and post appointment tasks, case progression, statutory compliance, asset realisations, investigations, through to closure. Maintaining an effective diary system in this respect.
• Complete all statutory tasks and formalities in accordance with set deadlines.
• Produce and oversee high-quality reports and letters.
• Review directors’ disqualification reports prepared by team members and assist with more complex CDDA returns.
• Managerial responsibility, providing leadership, direction and guidance to staff on a portfolio of cases.
• Manage and appraise the team engendering a positive attitude to work and professional development and developing staff to maximise their potential.
• Setting goals and targets for staff and ensuring they are achieved, also review progress of their cases on a regular basis.
• Be aware of technical developments and be able to recognise their impact on the work we undertake and our client base.
• Partake in and support marketing and business development initiatives with relevant technical commentary and content.
• Managing, coaching, and delegating work to Trainees, Administrators, Senior Administrators and Assistant Managers.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience within an Insolvency department
