Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in insolvency, distress or special situations.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Corporate insolvency case management.
• Understand commercial aspects of the insolvent’s business and liaise with employees and creditors.
• Produce all types of correspondence and reports to the management team.
• Investigate directors’ conduct and company affairs prior to insolvency.
• Assist with accelerated marketing material and preparation for creditors’ procedures.
• Familiarise with best practice and legal frameworks supporting the role.
• Manage asset valuation and realisation; attend client sites as needed; maintain IPS case diaries and IPS setup.

Job description

Ideally you will already have at least one years’ experience working in insolvency, distressed or special situations. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a broad range of highly complex and challenging projects with clear path to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Corporate insolvency case management
• Understand commercial aspects of the insolvent’s business and liaison with its employees and creditors
• Production of all types of correspondence
• Report to the management team on progress of the case
• Investigate directors’ conduct and the affairs of the Company prior to insolvency
• Assist with the production of accelerated marketing material
• Prepare for decision procedures of creditors
• Familiarisation with the best practice and legal frameworks supporting the role
• Manage asset valuation and realisation
• Attend, where necessary, clients’ sites to secure the premises, assist with control and/or assets where necessary
• Maintain IPS case diaries and IPS set-up
