Description

Are you passionate about sales and customer engagement? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact business growth? Based at our regional branch, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a first-class experience both over the phone and in person. You will play a key role in converting leads into sales, hosting customers, and maximising opportunities through our website, events, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Lead Conversion: Proactively make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, converting inbound leads into sales across new and used machinery, attachments, and service packages.
  • Customer Engagement: Host customers at the regional branch, providing walkarounds, finalising deals, and ensuring a seamless collection experience.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer records, machine population data, and account details to support marketing initiatives and repeat business.
  • Marketing & Campaigns: Actively promote marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to drive sales and customer interest.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the regional field sales team and Cat Financial Services to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new opportunities, ensuring target revenue and appointment goals are met.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proactive outbound B2B sales skills with a professional telephone manner
  • Experience in machinery sales desirable (Plant, Agriculture, or Automotive)
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
  • Innovative and analytical thinker
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and PC applications
  • Understanding of database marketing
