This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.

The Associate, Vision Care Inside Sales (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for engaging with customers through phone calls to build business plans and achieve sales goals in their territory. You will drive sales performance, enhance market share, and develop strong professional relationships with customers. You will also receive training and participate in team meetings for growth. Specifics include:

  • Interact with customers through regular phone calls to build and execute business plans and meet or exceed sales goals for the assigned territory
  • Drive territory sales performance, market share, and optimal resource utilization
  • Develop effective professional business relationships with customers to support delivery of business results across a range of therapeutic areas
  • Ensure that Alcon products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers
  • Execute call plans for customers and adapt communication style to customer needs, using available technologies and channels to support sales calls
  • Deploy and use approved marketing and sales promotional materials and programs, and use expert knowledge of Alcon products to support sound clinical discussions
  • Collaborate effectively with Alcon stakeholders, providing insights and feedback gained from customer interactions
  • Work within Integrity and Compliance policies and all company policies, ensuring those around you do the same, and foster a high-performing culture
  • Actively participate in all team meetings, conference calls, trainings, and sales meetings
