Job summary

BSI is hiring an Inside Sales Executive to drive sales of BSI Standards products from Covent Garden, London on a hybrid basis. You will engage with new customers, identify needs, and position solutions to grow revenue while maintaining a structured sales process.

The role requires experience in sales, lead generation or customer-facing roles, with strong communication and CRM skills, and a collaborative approach with the Business Development team. Salary range and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with prospects via phone, email, and other outreach channels.
• Experience booking qualified meetings or product demonstrations for Business Development Managers or sales teams.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, with excellent attention to detail and note-taking skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the drive to achieve targets and maximise commission opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Business Development Managers and wider sales teams.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high levels of professionalism and integrity.

Location: The Acre, Covent Garden, London - Hybrid working, 1 day per week in the office (Thursday's)

We are hiring an Inside Sales Executive to join us on permanently working on a hybrid basis from our Covent Garden office. You will play a key role in driving sales of our world-class BSI Standards products. You'll engage with new customers, identifying business needs and positioning our solutions - such as BSI Knowledge - to help organisations thrive.

• Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Building strong relationship with your business development manager to work on campaigns and ensure leads and revenue goals are achieved.
• Attend relevant events once or twice a year to generate further leads or build client relationships.
• Ensuring Salesforce is used to keep track of leads / building reports to assist in managing in pipelines.

To be successful in the role, you will have

• Previous experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role, ideally selling products, platforms, or subscription-based services.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with prospects via phone, email, and other outreach channels.
• Experience booking qualified meetings or product demonstrations for Business Development Managers or sales teams.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, with excellent attention to detail and note-taking skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the drive to achieve targets and maximise commission opportunities.

Salary Range: £28,000 - £29,000 + 30% OTE

The advertised salary range reflects the level, scope and responsibilities of the role. Starting salary within that range will be determined based on experience, skills, market considerations and alignment with internal equity principles.
