Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
• Licensed or license eligible for State of Ohio and DEA licensure.
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, faculty members, and other stakeholders.
• Commitment to resident education and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical procedures where assigned.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care services in the inpatient setting.
• Interviews, obtains and reviews medical history; performs examinations; orders tests and procedures; prescribes treatments; documents care; educates patients and families; maintains communication with referring physicians.
• Maintains accurate medical records and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serves as preceptor and provides training to residents, fellows, and students.
